This bronze sculpture represents a female figure standing on a long metal pedestal. It captures the motion of a dancing woman. A free-shaped gown forged in metallic fabric, extends downward from her lower hips, gracefully flowing, twirling, and twisting its way to realms unknown. The silhouette, created by the contours of the metallic skirt, suggests what appears to be the outline of the African continent. The female figure emerging from it is a manifestation of womanly grace, elegance, empowerment and emancipation.
