The Wing of freedom sculpture was commissioned to me by the CEO of The Maradiva Resort in the Mauritius Island to commemorate the 50 th -year-anniversary of Independence from the British. The winged female figure triumphantly stands on a local volcanic rock. The bronze patinas, green and blue recall the intense colors of the local nature and the vivid blue sky.
