This female bronze sculpture is a celebration of Bob Marley popular song No Woman, don’t cry. He is talking to a woman who is crying and telling her not to cry and to forget the past. No, Woman, Don't cry... he's leaving and reassuring her that the slum they live in won't get her down, that everything will be alright and "don't shed no tear" The strong grace, beauty and at the same time tension and struggle captured in the sculpture convey the nature of the woman, a strong woman that doesn’t depend on the man.
