Angel on the Fringe is a bronze sculpture that belongs to a series of sculptures entitled “Urban Angels”. A female sculpture sits on layers of concrete blocks that symbolically represent the decadence and the intricate texture of the life lived in the periphery of urban areas. The rough texture of the cement blocks juxtaposed to the elegance of the bronze sculpture creates an unexpected harmonious composition.
